There is a wide range of services on offer in your local library, from book borrowing to free computer access and room hire to printing and scanning. You will be surprised just what your library can offer you.

Southampton Archives hold a rich variety of material relating to the city and its people dating back to 1199.

Whether you are researching your Southampton or merchant seamen ancestors, the history of a house or general topics such as Southampton during the Second World War, we may have sources to help.
