Ta Da!! Something about us for a change! We have been working so hard since 2016/17 to bring you the best of Southampton and somehow we managed to snag ourselves a little award! The ‘Tourism Platform of the Year’ for the South of England!
Having run the social media and blog for around 4-5 years, we have seen a lot of changes in how people use our channels and what they want to see on the. From the introduction of things like TikTok and Instagram Reels it’s been an adaptive experience for us and we have really enjoyed finding new ways of showing you all of the parts of the city that we love, and know you will love too.
2022 will be a big year for Southampton Focus, with lots in the plans for advertising and content, as well as stepping up our social media game to bring you everything even earlier!
Lockdown and covid was a big reminder that sometimes we really just do need that social media support and people to rally around local businesses. It gave us a chance to redo our website and think about our approach, as well as get on top of creating things like Instagram Guides for both our Focus and Food pages.
