Eat Out to Help Out: Splitting Your Bill with Boris!

Over 100 restaurants in Southampton have signed up to the government ‘Eat Out to Help Out’ scheme, making it easier for people to enjoy their favourite restaurants.

The initiative was launched in August by the government, as a means of helping restaurants, pubs, cafes and fast food joints boost their revenues as they recover from the recent Covid-19 lockdown.

It will enable diners to enjoy half price meals at a discount of up to £10 per person at participating restaurants and chains on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

It does not apply to alcohol nor takeaways, but customers will not need to to produce physical or online vouchers to obtain the discounts.

In addition, customers can also take advantage of the scheme as many times as they like, as long as it is on the eligible days.
