Local businesses have come together to offer Southampton shoppers a very merry Christmas this year by donating an array of exciting prizes, from theatre tickets, to luxury hampers, to exciting holidays. Prizes will be given away every day during the countdown to Christmas, as part of Go! Southampton’s ‘Ultimate Advent’ calendar campaign. .

From 1 – 24 December, shoppers will have the chance to win one of 24 different prizes from 24 different businesses participating. All they have to do is visit the participating businesses throughout advent on their respective days to enter their daily draws.

Businesses will also be hosting in-store entertainment each day, including craft activities, music performances, further giveaways and special discounts.

The prizes together are worth more than £7,000, and include complimentary coffee for a year at Mettricks Guildhall, a £500 gift hamper from Marlands Shopping Centre and a two-night Isle of Wight holiday for four, among many more. 

The campaign’s slogan ‘24 days, 24 prizes, 24 chances to win a cruise’ reflects how for every daily entry they make, shoppers will also be entered into a final prize draw to to win a P&O Cruise, sponsored by Barrhead Travel, and a Christmas hamper..
